Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set Review
The Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion set comes with only two things: the micro crystal cream and a follow-up moisturizer. There is no battery operated applicator and sponges to deal with. One of the good things about the Mary Kay
product is that the results are visible fairly quickly as far as smoothing the skin and improving skin tone. However, the same is not true when it comes to seeing improvement in pore size, wrinkles, and brown spots.
To use the Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion kit, you first wash your faces well. Then apply approximately a quarter-sized dollop of the crystal microdermabrasion cream, massaging it all over your face for about two minutes. Rinse well to remove all of the crystals and pat your face dry. Next, apply the “Replenish Night Solution” moisturizer.
The “kit” is $39.20 but you can get the Refine, which is the exfoliating cream, for $30 and the Replenish Moisturizer for $25. Therefore, it is cheaper if you buy both products as a set. The Refine scrub is considerably more expensive than the replacement cost for crystal microdermabrasion creams that come with many of the other home kits. However, the Mary Kay products seem to last longer than those with some of the other kits when used with the same frequency.
One reviewer did not see much in the way of results when using Mary Kay TimeWise the recommended two times a week. When she began to use it four times a week, she did begin to see some results in lines and wrinkles. From the few reviews of the product that are available, most of them agreed that it did need to be used more like 3 or 4 times a week rather than just twice. They also agreed that it was too expensive, considering the results that it gives.
